Playing with textures, finishes, pigments, gadgets, crystals.. allows me to really understand how products interact with the skin, how colours work, how volumes work on each face, and gives me control over the results when I work for skincare and make-up brands, even if it's a no-makeup-makeup look.
That would be the practical part, the other part is to keep creating, characters, stories, images, the joy of creating beautiful things and sharing them without conditioning, just for the fun of it

I think I could make a very interesting film with just my videos and backstage photos. Here's where the most interesting thing happens;)

There are shows and shows and then there's DIOR. I've been able to work on Team Peter Philips for over 6 seasons, and even on an advertising campaign for one of the Cruise Collection. And I have to say that it's playing in another league. I have a long relationship with the brand, Dior Beauty Spain has sponsored me for more than 10 years, and I feel very close to them. But the ways of accessing the shows are different and have nothing to do with each other.
That's why the first confirmation I received from Peter's booker to work in his team in Seville made me cry, I'm like that. And all the ones that have followed have always been great experiences that I cherish.

The Milan shows have something special for me, maybe because it was the first fashion week I worked at, or maybe the city, the atmosphere during the shows. I'd even say it's less stressful than Paris, as "less" stressful as ten days working on shows can be. She was one of my models for Sportmax, the atmosphere backstage that day was very special.

I have created the perfect manual - a comprehensive guide with detailed instructions on how to become a successful, professional makeup artist. Challenging the notion of the "starving artist," I have developed an online course that provides strategies, methodologies, and mindset techniques necessary for makeup artists and creatives to achieve their goals and make their dreams a reality. Understanding the language of the skin, it's my how. How to read a skin, and know what ingredients to add, what textures and tones, with the right tools, in the right order, and skip the completely unnecessary steps.

Working at the Haute Couture shows if you are a fashion freak, is one dream come true, and doing it in Lucy Bridge's make-up team is another.
This was a brutal show, in every sense, the location, the light, the ways in which V&R created these pieces of art, and the make-up that Lucy designed, the endless sharp eyeliner and beautiful skin, it was a pleasure to be part of this!

Nobody ever tells you how to have ideas, how to work on them, how to stay inspired, or where to get information, resources, ideas, how to turn concepts into images... how to create, in short. I have always been very interested in this because I think it is a fundamental part of our work, to be creative. I have spent a great deal of time researching other processes, other professionals and analysing my own and that's how BEAUTY BOOT CAMP came about, my first face-to-face workshop for make-up artists in which I broke down the creative process, a theoretical and practical process, where each of the participants learn to create a beauty story with a common thread, and make it real. They went from inspiration to creation. My research is ongoing and that is why in Glow up, my online course, I have included a live and growing section, where make-up artists and other professionals share their creative processes, analysing and breaking down how they work their ideas and concepts, and turn them into new looks and new realities.

I declare myself a lover of both a "apparently" raw skin and the more colorful beauty story. Both have their difficulties, and both have the same point in common and absolutely necessary: The total mastery of the preparation of the skin, without the knowledge and application of the correct and adequate skin care, there are no results, or most probably not the desired ones.

As a seasoned makeup artist in the fashion and advertising world, I have encountered a multitude of skin types, colors, and conditions. Over the years, I've learned how vital it is to understand the complexities of the skin in order to create stunning results.
In my recent series of workshops, "Skin the Wow Effect!", I shared these invaluable insights with other beauty professionals and witnessed first-hand the transformative impact of in-depth skin knowledge.
I initially felt a mix of excitement and nerves when preparing for the first workshop in Madrid. The participants came from diverse backgrounds, including pharmacists, a chemical engineer, facialists, and makeup artists specializing in various niches. I knew I needed to create a comprehensive and engaging learning experience that would cater to their unique needs and interests.
The workshop centered on the idea that, by developing a strong understanding of the skin and the factors that influence its health and appearance, beauty professionals can achieve exceptional results for their clients/models. We delved into topics such as skin types, color theory, treatments, cosmetics, formulations, ingredient compatibility, and more.
Our aim was to empower participants with the skills to analyze and treat any type of skin with confidence.
Throughout the workshop, the energy in the room was palpable. Participants eagerly shared their own experiences and expertise, enriching the learning experience for everyone involved. I was thrilled to see the positive impact of this collaborative and comprehensive approach to understanding the skin.
Word of the workshop's success spread, leading to subsequent editions in Barcelona and Valencia. It was a joy to witness the growth and camaraderie among participants, as they united in their passion for beauty and desire to provide exceptional service to any kind of clients.
In an industry where first impressions are crucial, being equipped with in-depth knowledge of the skin is an invaluable asset. Not only does it empower beauty professionals to create stunning results for their clients, but it also fosters a sense of confidence and trust in their abilities.
I believe that by sharing our collective knowledge and experience we can elevate the beauty industry as a whole.
